Travel By Road
From Jeddah to Makkah
By Road : Public transport can also be used from the Corniche centre area. Use of a Taxi is also an option from Al-Balad Parking to the Grand Mosque. If someone rents a car, it can be taken to Prince Mohammad bin Salman Road, Huda Al-Sham Road or the old Makkah Jeddah road. After reaching Makkah, all rented cars needed to be parked at the entrance of Makkah and proceed to the Grand mosque by Makkah public buses or taxis. Other options can be booking a ride via Careem, Uber or Green Taxi.
By Train : Passengers can travel easily from Jeddah to Makkah by using a train at Haramain train station at King Abdul Aziz Airport or Sulaymaniyah train station. Grand Mosque of Makkah can be reached via buses in Makkah.

By road : From Madinah, travellers can reach Makkah using Route 15 which is a four-lane highway. You will pass two beautiful cities, Yanbu and Rabigh cities. In addition, you will reach Jeddah. Makkah is 80 kilometres away from here.
By Train : A high-speed train service known as Haramain high-speed Railway operates between Madinah to Mecca. The station is located in medina 8 kilometres northwest of the city centre. You can reach the station by using a taxi or public transportation.
