Qiyam al-Layl is one of the most beautiful voluntary acts of worship (tasbih) in Islam. It is done at night where the world sleeps and a believer stands before Allah sincerely, with humbleness along with hope. Qiyam al-Layl or The Night Prayer is a voluntary prayer unlike obligatory prayers, Muslims can select the timing that works best for them in hopes of drawing nearer to Allah. It is actually not that complicated teaching you how to pray Qiyam al-Layl. It starts with a genuine desire from you, follows through in the process of prayer and supplication, and concludes with your heart beating together as one beat — to pray like you are talking to your Creator. Making a beautiful habit of night prayer during an early stage is also important and can therefore be used to make your spiritual journey performing Umrah much more meaningful.
